Maindrian Pace Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 Amazing job, the nicest build ever on that kit, and one of the nicest C3s out there as well. 1

christian-w Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 It looks so good with the lights on. Also I like it when the head lights are popped up. 1

Duddly01 Posted September 1, 2024 Author Posted September 1, 2024 It was great seeing my 1974 Corvette included in the SoCal Open coverage in issue 225. This was the first Model Car show I ever participated in.Thank you very much!
Steve H Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Hi Donald! I missed seeing this one finished. It turned out beautiful. Congrats on the well deserved coverage in the magazine. 1

mrm Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 The working lights are the cherry on the cake, but it looks great even without them. 1

Duddly01 Posted July 1 Author Posted July 1 MPC Open Corvette Roadster 1/25 model kit converted from a 1975 to 1974 Corvette 454 convertible. Kit did not come with a top, so I added one from another kit and I added a complement of LED lighting as usual. I made the headlight open and close for lights on or off. This build was featured in issue 225 of Model Cars Magazine under the coverage for the SoCal Open Model Car show in 2024. 2
AMT68 Posted July 8 Posted July 8 (edited) Awesome paint work and the LED lighting along with the operable wheels make it seem like the actual car. Always liked the mid 70's versions in orange. Edited July 8 by AMT68 1
