Back to the hobby after 35 year absence

Recommended Posts

Hello guys and gals. My first time posting here on the site. Last fall, I started selling a bunch of kits I had in boxes since the ‘80’s. Then I realized “why am I selling these when I could be building them again.”

So I returned to a kit I started all those years ago but never finished - AMT Prestige 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL. I dove in with both feet with black paint color, cutting out the doors and trunk, and a lot of other mods to try for stock accuracy. Certainly not perfect but not bad for being rusty at building.

Love all the posts and shares here. Glad the hobby is still going strong!

Kind regards, Joe
