Gramps46 Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 How about some leather color on the stitched rear spring wraps. ?

kensar Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 Super work! That engine looks great. The spark plug boots really set it off. 1
Pierre Rivard Posted June 25, 2024 Author Posted June 25, 2024 To add...or not to add a driver, that is the question. To be answered later. Added leather color to rear spring gaiters per Gary's suggestion, and then the last bit of chassis work with fabrication of exhaust using 2.4mm styrene tubes and PE fasteners 2
MarkJ Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 Pierre, that underside is looking so real. and I vote yes on the driver, but he has to have a Graham Hill mustache.

MarkJ Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 Perfect. Dude looks like a service manager I had back in the day. Adds a ton of interest to the build. 1
Dave B Posted July 1, 2024 Posted July 1, 2024 That's looking exceptional Pierre, congratulations. Dave B 1

Pierre Rivard Posted July 2, 2024 Author Posted July 2, 2024 Body has been polished, decals added and Quick Shine seal coat applied. Mating of body to chassis was uneventful and the stance looks correct for this car. What's left is body detailing (lamps, wind screens etc), and I need to see which kit parts will need a bit of upgrading. 3
absmiami Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 The wheels are really a big deal - your guy’s ebay store is not always stocked - perhaps if he is doing some traveling - pl give us a shout if you see that the store is stocked again ….
MarkJ Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Wow, so close to the finish and its looking spectacular all ready. The finish looks perfect.

I don't wait for his store inventory to be updated (he has yet to show the outlaced Borranis he developped at my request months ago). I just e-mail Jason (contact.jackmodelling@gmail.com) with my requests and he emails me a PayPal invoice, then the parts come in in 7-10 days.
absmiami Posted July 2, 2024 Posted July 2, 2024 Gracias - ill just ask him for the Pierre specials …
stavanzer Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 Looks Really Spectacular, Pierre. The Red Wheels offset the Green so well, and the driver brings the whole build together.
Bainford Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 Looking great, Pierre. Love the colours and the wheels really set off this build. And that driver does bear a passing resemblance to Graham Hill.

Pierre Rivard Posted July 5, 2024 Author Posted July 5, 2024 Some of the exterior detailing elements. Please take note that this is a gentleman's racing club. Elegance is a pre-requisite...so we keep the bumpers! 2
MarkJ Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 Totally agree about the color of the fog lamps. I guess that's what they are. That front of the car looks so real. You still have that cleanliness of build at a super high level. I don't know how you guys can do it so well.
