Decided to use the Monogram PC72-198 1934 Ford Continental Kit as the Side Mount Spare on the '32 Ford Chauffeur Driven Town Sedan.

From the very limited Monogram PC72-198 1934 Ford parts box on-hand, the continental ring and the inner & outer wire rim parts from the kit were set aside... upon review & test assembly the inner wire rim (part #M16) is broken beyond even microsurgery and needs to be replaced. -KK

Time for an update of sorts lol, since beginning this build I’ve tried to keep it as simple as possible to make sure I’d actually finish. The time is getting near to finish and I’d like to invite @mrm as the originator of the thread to start a finished thread as I’m sure there are others that are nearing a finish @dino246gt and @Rocking Rodney Rat appear to be close as well.

I am like @Speedpro, being a slowish builder. Even my quick builds seem to take months. I have slowed down on the work front and now am semi-retired and hope to have some more time to fill in at the workbench in between the honey-do's

Got the motor near done. Scratched the coil/distributors and ignition wiring as I was not ha0ppy with the AMT effort. Also has a 3D printed air cleaner

Inching closer, still some details to button down: door handles, taillights, mirror, rad shell (with photo etched insert(gonna have to take my time with that( never used em before))) upper rad hose ( it was here a minute ago i swear)!

Got the glass installed in the body and keen observers will note the crack in the glass( this was not intentional) it was the only sedan one I had and I didn’t want to fiddle around sourcing/making a new one. I feel it adds a little to the overall patina build. Body is not fixed to the frame yet so it’s sitting a little off atm.
More before the long weekend is over.

grabbed one of my drag city Tudors and did a quick mock up of a 60s drag build. idk when I'll get back to it but at least it's visually there

I know someone will mention the slight sag in the windshield, that's on me, I wrapped it back up a bit tight and put it away. a little warm water and it'll be good as new

Things are moving on here and there are some great builds coming together.

Got a bit of bench time over the weekend. Got some primer on and is now curing in the hot box. Had to do some more clean up on the chassis and is now ready for paint. Looks like the body need a truck load of work to do yet before colour

I’m gonna call this one done! It’s been a heck of a lot of fun participating in a group build. The Patina styled 32 sedan was a challenge of my weathering skills. Now I have to order in a couple of the new release kits to fill the stash again.
Here it is in all the glory of a clean work mat.

Looks great.

I have never done a weathered rod. I think you did great. It definitely has character.
