NYLIBUD Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 I’m not sure if this is the place for this post.?♂️Anyway,Just wondering,meanest car grille/front end.Post war-muscle car?For me,the 70 Road Runner,68 Charger,71 Cuda,I’am a Mopar guy,but a Ford guy too,69 Boss 429 Mustang,and a 70 Cyclone GT,
JollySipper Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Not a muscle car, but the '59 Buick has absolutely The Most ticked-off front end of any car, I believe...... 5 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 Maybe not the meanest, but certainly among the most unpleasant, with its Predator face... The way you meant it...
Chuckyg1 Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 This one's angry because of what someone did to it. 1
Rob Hall Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 The '59 Dodge has a good scowl, and the '61 Plymouth looks like an angry insectoid alien. 5
NYLIBUD Posted June 5, 2024 Author Posted June 5, 2024 (edited) Wow those are some mean looking cars.,I gotta say.?And yea,Ace I said mean looking, not scary.?That predator car is really weird.Reminds me of some kind of a deformed Studabaker. What is it,and what year is that??Wow Edited June 5, 2024 by NYLIBUD
stitchdup Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 While at first these 2 dont look too mean, during the 60s thru to the mid 80s if you saw these 2 being driven fast, theres an extremely high probability theres just been a bank robbery and about to be a vehicle fire. So being the gangsters favourites must qualify them as mean faced. only the petrol transit qualifies though, the diesel was a bit of a dog but ford gave them a different front so you didn't steal the wrong van 1

CaddyDaddy Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 When I was a real little kid, our neighbor had a '59 Buick. Whenever he parked it in the street, I refused to go out and play!

I guess the name 'Fury' was better suited....
StevenGuthmiller Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 For me, "mean" has a couple of different connotations. It can mean "angry" looking as many in this thread are thinking, in which case my opinion is that the '59 Buick fits the bill perfectly. Or it can mean, as I think Ron is implying, "aggressive" looking. I think that the '69 Dodge Coronet not only exhibits a very aggressive, all business looking, muscle car character, but it also has a considerably angry disposition. Steve 1
StevenGuthmiller Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 Our 2005 Honda S-2000 has a mildly "PO'd" look to it. Steve
ksnow Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 As a young man when this car was released, I always liked this front end. Still do. 2

Having said that, Buicks are common in his books too. He even has a a book called "From A Buick 8."
iamsuperdan Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 The new Mustang Dark Horse, and the new Mustang GTD are both angry looking. And you can't forget this. Like the unexpected villain in a horror film, you just know this car is about to unleash some serious stuff.
