TooOld Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 This is a neat little 3D printed kit from Iceman Collections . I modified it by adding all the "Back To The Future" goodies to the body with styrene strip and an engine pack from an old diecast that was collecting dust . Nice kit and a fun build . 7 1

Movie/Hollywood stupidity. But i did Google it,and it said”The DeLorean DMC-12 has a top speed of 130 mph (209 km/h). However, a review by Road & Track magazine found that the DeLorean with a manual transmission only reached 110 mph (177 km/h). A review by Car & Driver found that the DeLorean with a five-speed manual transmission only reached 117 mph (188 km/h). The Alpha5, the electric successor to the DMC-12, has a top speed of 155 mph”. I guess it depends on how u look at it,but these cars were not very fast, and they should’ve been.Never understand why John DeLorean chose the power plants he installed on his car.Why did he install such a turd of a motor?.The car looked pretty wild for back then. But the motor was a garbage. Why?someone please tell me why he did he dothat??♂️?♂️?♂️?♂️?♂️?♂️?♂️…But i will admit, like Pacers.Gremlins,Pințos,and other cars that i can’t mention here?,the DeLorean starts to grow on you.So yes, even though the car should’ ve been a lot faster,in real life, not the movie.I think they chose 88 mph off their heads and it just stuck.Who knows.?♂️
