Mike 1017 Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 (edited) I decide to build this car. I did the test fitting, and the interior door panels are warped. Is this a chronic issue with this kit? I tried to see if there is a WIP and I have had no luck finding one. Is there a WIP? Thanks Mike Edited August 25, 2024 by Mike 1017 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 (edited) That box is the 1/32 scale 1956 Caddy kit. Build video below: Edited August 25, 2024 by Ace-Garageguy TYPO 1
blizzy63 Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 This kit is currently on the shelves. Anyone experience warpage on this Atlantis re-issue? 1
peteski Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 (edited) I wonder if Atlantis added an actual molded windshield, or just give you a small piece of clear styrene sheet? Edited August 26, 2024 by peteski 1
Mark Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 Atlantis has been adding molded clear parts to the Revell kits that did not include them originally. Revell didn't provide the sheet material in the 1/32 scale kits back then. 2
mr moto Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Yes, the Atlantis release has a molded windshield.
peteski Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Hmm, might be time to get one of those since I still have the older release from Revell without a windshield. That will make the build easier.

That will make the build easier. It would! Does anyone know if Atlantis is re-popping the '56 Lincoln and '56 Chrysler? I've always thought about building one of these but I'm not real big on the scale, and the glass was always an issue. I have one each of the Caddy, Lincoln and Chrysler. Extremely nice kits considering their age! Steve
