chadrob30 Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Started with the Revell '55 2n1 kit and changed it up a bit. I 3D printed the fuel tank, front suspension, engine and transmission, headers, ladder bars and parachute. I painted it El cheapo Krylon foil green and cleared it with Duplicolor 1K clear. Decals are from the '65 Chevy Stepside kit. Enjoy 6
Zippi Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 (edited) On yeah, that turned out Super nice Chad. That Krylon foil green looks really sharp. Great looking 3D printed parts and that's a different take on the front grille. Nicely done. You might want to post this in the "Under Glass" forum for others to see. David G. Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Clean and tight! Great color and excellent overall build! David G.
Altered Ego Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Awesome job, I especially like the 3D printed straight axle. I would love to have a couple of those for some builds I am working on.

Yea I just noticed it was in the WIP forum. Maybe a mod will move it since I don't see any way to do it

M W Elky Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 Congratulations you took what I think is a stinker of a model kit and made something really cool out of it. Where do I even start the grill the engine and headers the front axle the much improved stance . Then there’s that knock out green paint job that has me trying to figure out what I can use it on. Thanks for posting 2

Thanks for posting Thank you! The grille cutout is actually an optional piece in the kit. I think it fits the build better than a full grille.
