You guys ever seen those little versions of big cars that one guy made out of refrigerators? Like he made an exact replica of a ‘49 Mercury but it was about two sizes smaller

If you mean this guy, they're absolute works of panel-beating mechanical art, far far removed from golf carts.

I actually met the guy in Oatman, AZ several years back, on the Rt. 66 Fun Run.    (NOT MY VIDEO)

Here's more.

And yes, his very early cars were made from scrapped refrigerators, but the really cool ones are made from virgin steel.

I would much rather put that money into my real 88 5.0 vert and make it like new than have one of those stupid things. But then I do not play golf.

I don't play much, but sure as h, if I wanted a golf cart, I know a place here where I can buy just a normal older one that's been rebuilt and painted, with all new batteries, for about $2500-$5000. For that matter, you can buy one for a few hundred $ or less that just needs batteries and a good cleanup. No way in h I'd spend stupid money on a pretend car that screams "I'm a dwerpderp with money to burn !!!!!" when I could spend it on a real somethingorother.
