Two thumbs up from me for the AMT Mustang. It's far from a perfect kit, but I haven't built one since the early 80s. I missed out on the last reissue around a decade ago, so I'll be definitely snagging this one.

Also, yay for the Starliner. It's good to see this one back, even though a stock option isn't in this offering.

I think I'll get a '60 Starliner and since the 352 is a member of the FE engine series, build a mild custom with a 406 fed by 3 - 2 barrel carbs and scratch build a set of Bellflower Pipes for the exhaust. Maybe build another one as a phantom light weight S/S drag racer with a dual-quad 427.

Money is safe for another month, have a full shelf of Starliners already.

Be aware, the kit takes real patience in a few areas, but the engraving and detail is first rate.

Only thing missing is the distinctive, one-year-only '60 Ford wheel cover, which was on the promo and in the Craftsman IIRC.  The bottlecap is fine, but I'd like to see the feature 'ad car' look more.

That Starliner kit has an accurate FE dual quad setup including the lines and filters. Much better than the one in the ‘66 Fairlane kit.

Nothing new really. It makes me wonder if the vaults are really empty, Round0 now?

None of the old AMT/MPC kits are left to do?

Very disappointing!!

They're currently rolling through all the "B-Side" Street Machine/Customs versions of a lot of the Mueller Era kits from the 90s. Most of which haven't seen the light of day since their one release nearly 30 years ago.

After putting out something like 16 new tool kits in 24 months, it's not unreasonable of them to "print money" with existing tooling that just requires box art & decals to release. Especially given the reissues haven't been available in 2+ decades.

I'd love for the 68 el camino street machine to come back out

I honestly don't understand the amount of negative replies to these videos. I think it's a great way to announce upcoming (re-)issues.

Sure, the selection of new model kits is pretty slim this month, but Round2 has recently brought out a number of excellent kits that haven't been available - for decades in some instances. The '60 Starliner is an absolute beauty from a model kit perspective: Apart from the gorgeous Ford FE with T10-transmission and various intake options, the custom version includes some of the best looking Astro Supreme wheels and lake pipes available in scale.

Modelers in the social media age (of all genres) have become uncapable of not screaming from the roof tops about things they're not going to buy.  I don't understand it either.  But this is a monthly thing here and is really Pre-K/Day Care level of griping compared to the commentary Round2 gets on YouTube and Facebook when they post these updates.

I've mentioned this to my colleagues at Round 2 multiple times over the last decade or so.

I don't have any insider info on this, but I do think it is a fairly safe assumption that this one will come back at some point....and when i does, I highly encourage everyone to grab a copy.  It is a really well done snapshot of mid-late 1990 street machine themology, and a great basis for both a box stock build and for a more ambitious kit bashing project of your own choosing....TB pt

Yeah I figure the stock one was re-released a few times already, would be nice to see this one come out with no sink holes in the roof too

Looks like they put the Starliner kit on a diet... Lot's of missing parts from this new release...????

There's no "missing parts" unless you are comparing it to the 2n1 kit that was out awhile back. And unlike the true 2n1 kits from the 60's, this kit was not designed to have 2 versions in the box. It required running the entire stock tool, and then running the entire custom tool and then throwing away the body.

I'm not being negative nor screaming from anywhere, I'm simply looking at recent releases from MY point of view. i have 1000 or so kits in my stash already, I'm not frantic about anything. i do appreciate Round 2's efforts, I'm just wondering if all those annuals from the 50's through 70's are gone. I'm still hoping for stuff, like MPC Pontiacs, 65 Monaco, Buicks, Lincolns etc. to be revived as was the 64 Cutlass.

Not screaming ( really ) , just wondering.
