ericmaxman Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 (edited) Let's see, the new - Focus RS - Audi R8 V10 - Jaguar XFR - Renault Laguna Coupe Then, cars that you hope that will NEVER exist in 1/24, or any scale for that matter. - Tato Nano - Fiat Qubo Edited April 17, 2009 by ericmaxman
Foxer Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 now, now eric ... we get all kinds of those sleek. low and fast cars in 1/24!! I'd love to see the Fiat and Tato Nano in scale!!! Just not enough of those funky little things around IMO.
FujimiLover Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Do I dare say my 2001 Honda Insight? How about the Vector V8 Turbo? I've only seen it available in 1/18 scale and it's very rare to find one. This would make for a cool 1/24 scale kit. Photo of 1/18 die-cast

Just not enough of those funky little things around IMO. Hmm. Let's see. Tata owns Jaguar. And according to TG:UK, this should appear soon enough All hail, the TATAGUAR !! On a much much more serious note (oh, really?), I would like to see this -> Mazda Furai!!

Photo of 1/18 die-cast I suppose that the Vector got its inspirations from the Countach, eh? Looks awesome. No doubt about that.
Kombi Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 On a much much more serious note (oh, really?), I would like to see this -> Mazda Furai!! I was just thinking about this one the other day. This one would be very cool. The other I'd like to see, re-released as it were, is the Lotus Cortina.
FujimiLover Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 ^^^^^ You could call it the American Lamborghini! Also another great car would be the Zender Fact 4.
crispy Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I'm throwing mine into the ring. That's what I would like to see. Plastic, not resin not metal. Chris
CAL Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I know some resin kit or conversions exist, but... a plastic Porsche 550 RS kit a plastic Bentely Speed 8 a plastic Peugeot 908 a Pangini Zonda
Zoom Zoom Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I'm throwing mine into the ring. That's what I would like to see. Plastic, not resin not metal. Chris Yes, please, to your top three. Vanquish is my least-favorite Aston styling-wise (let's not talk about the recent Lagonda debacle). I'll take the new Vantage or DBS
roadhawg Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 What would I like to see? This................. What do I NOT want to see? This.................
FujimiLover Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 ^^^^^^That's not an inch-up! That's a FOOT-UP!
MrObsessive Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Why oh why are there no plastic kits of these??? I don't buy the line that there's no market for 'em...........

Zoom Zoom Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT Nice! I'll raise the stakes with this slightly more conventional car:
Scalefinishes Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I would like to see a newer F150. A nicely molded/detailed Jaguar Etype would also be okay. IMHO Jameston
FujimiLover Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 (edited) Is that a swamp buggy? Sure looks like one. I'd leave it in the swamp! Edited April 17, 2009 by FujimiLover
george 53 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Steve, that thing looks too "Alien"-ish for me. I'd still like to see a 72/75 Pontiac Grand Am! Ever since I saw Juha's Burgundy one in an old SAE mag,I've been yearning for one!

Crazy Ed Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Rather that add a Laundry list I'll keep it simple, '66 - '74 CamAn Cars. Full detail of course Ed
Randy Kern Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 How about a couple of British classics. I'm a Healey guy, but I love the styling on these two. Oh yeah, include the racing versions, also
Modelmartin Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 When on earth will anyone do this! Resin, plastic - I don't care! I want it! I want it! I want it! I want it! I want it! For those unfortunate enough to not know this car yet, it is a 36-38 Bugatti T57SC Atlantic coupe. Only 3 of this body were built and only about 75 of the chassis were made.
Corvette.Jeff Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 i definatley wouldnt mind seeing an 84' corvette in plastic, they have die ###### and they have an 85' but no 84' i mostly want that one to see what mine would look like with some mods second an 82' dodge ram pickup, so i could make my dads work truck
ericmaxman Posted April 18, 2009 Author Posted April 18, 2009 After I was going through this thread, I realize that there are many cars that manufacturers missed out ! How the h*** could they have missed out a road standard Aston Martin? I would do one of those ! And as for classic lovers, I do like the curvy surfaces those cars have, but if only they exists in 1/24. Funny how the worst of cars could have appeared in 1/24. Things like the Renault Megane from Fujimi was a nightmare. What about you guys?
