the60falcon Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Older build from a year or two ago, this was my first vinyl top, not easy with the "halo" roof. Custom made the L88 hood, plumbed and wired. Custom exhaust, valve stems etc. This sat in a local hobby shop for a while until I brought it home a couple months ago. Needs some touch up, looks like my thread plug wires came loose and some paint wear from the hood being on and off. But it still looks okay. 10
espo Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Great looking paint color and finish. The vinyl roof treatment looks good. The L88 style hood and the engine work well together.
Rattlecan Dan Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 Not too common to see such a classy Monte with that street rod power. Nice job!
ybsluos Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 Cody it looks really nice! The American mags suit it well. Nice job on the molding of the scoop too.
ncbuckeye67 Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 Very nice build. The vinyl top & blue paint look amazing! I wouldn't want to live next to you with that exhaust though (Lol).
Sledsel Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 Great color combo. Looks like a serious street machine. "Mufflers? Don't need no stinkin' mufflers!" 1
Leica007 Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Very good looking and well executed, especially for 1st attempt on the vinyl roof.
Geno Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Beautiful, the 1st gen Monte Carlo will ALWAYS be the best. It was downhill after that. 1
Bills72sj Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 Very nicely done. Way back when I built mine, a cowl hood was offered in the aftermarket. So I went with that..
XYHARRY Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 Nice, that stance sets the scene for what this Monte Carlo has to offer. Well done Cody. Cheers, David. ??
Chinacar Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 Not a car you'd want to meet in a dark alley! Nice one Cody.
