Fuel Altered info.

Question for any drag racing gurus. Looking for photos and information on Mike Sullivan fuel altered. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Brian

Thank you Andrew. I’m looking for pictures of the frame. I want to try to scratch build the frame. I do have several Revell 1/16 scale funny cars and rails for the engine. I will have to source a quick change rear end. But thank you again, I will never turn down advice or information. Brian

I asked Mike Sullivan several years ago about info on the blue and white Fiat. He told me at the time he didn't have any pictures or know of any chassis shots. Even the Steve Reyes feature of it in DRUSA is very lacking of chassis details. The linked restoration pics are great but are not the original chassis. Unfortunately the hard drive I'd stored every thing on crashed so like most of my research materials, they're gone.

As soon as I read Mike Sullivan, the Flag Fiat came to mind as did the Blue & White Fiat Topolino! I had forgot that Mike ran a Dragster before the Altered...

I have found that, when building replicas, sometimes,  you just have to make your best educated guess. I've only built two, but, I had to guess on a couple of things on both.

Thanks Daniel I think you are right. I will use the photos I can find , and just build something that I am pleased with.  I do appreciate all the feedback I am getting here. Great bunch of people here. Thanks again to everyone. Brian

Exactly! Especially when the odds of anyone having the proof that you built it wrong are nearly nil!!
