Hondo Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 That's a neat rig. The tinted windows like right for the period. If that is the "Racer's Wedge", you did good converting it to a single axle. Hondo

57Chevyjunkie Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 This is an eye-popping combo! The paint, and detail work is top notch. I love what you did on the '57. It makes a ho-hum kit come to life! The Racers Wedge was a good kit. This combo just looks good together. Great work!
Rick Voegelin Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Great builds! The hauler is fantastic -- back in the day I had a '68 Chevy C-30 ramp truck, and we put a lot of miles on it going to the races. Three of us sitting bolt upright in the cab for 48 hours straight, L.A. to Indy -- and we thought we were having the time of our lives. So I've got to build one of these. Question: Where did you get the truck wheels and rear duallies? Of course, for an accurate model of my old ramp truck, I'll have to paint them black . . . I spent the big bucks on 12-ply Michelins instead of chrome rims. Thanks, Rick V.
