stavanzer Posted December 27, 2024 Posted December 27, 2024 There is enough room in there for any V-8 to fit. The 409 is an inspired choice. Keep us updated.
bobss396 Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 I like that 409, it had great detail to it.
BK9300 Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 Best years of GMC and Chevy pickups ever, in my opinion!
espo Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 Like the paint color and finish. The bed wood looks good.
junkyardjeff Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 I had to glue the body to the frame before installing the engine since it's wide and now does not want to fit so time to tinker with it some.
espo Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Did a model of a Chevy Prototype, in my mind anyway, with the W engine. I had to install the engine after the body was mounted on the frame for just the reason you're running into now. 1
junkyardjeff Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 I got the engine in but had to grind some off the drivers side inner fender to get it in there,I wish I would have seen that before painting.
