The Brush Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 (edited) Hi This is a salvaged kit off the auction site, Rebuilt with frame extended & sand boxes added + various other bits, Sprayed metallic green with a satin finish, snow from powered filler & icicles made from clear glue. Built around 2006. Happy Christmas thanks for looking. Edited December 27, 2024 by The Brush 11

Pete68 Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 (edited) Nice build for sure. This truck looks very cold 🥶. I really like those sanders you added and the Headlight guards nice touch. The front Mudflaps looks like there frozen in that position. Thanks for sharing Edited December 22, 2024 by Pete68
PappyD340 Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 Super nice build, love those icicles, well done!
Jürgen M. Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Great idea with the icicles! Makes it even more authentic! Looks great!
Bren Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 I love this build. One of the few examples of “wintering” I’ve seen that is utterly convincing - and as a Canadian with 11 1/2 months of winter I should know😜! Care to share some of your secrets with us? What did you use for the ice/snow? 1

The icicles are clear glue blobs stretched down from wire suspended across blocks when dry snap off & apply to vehicle with clear glue.
Old Buckaroo Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 (edited) Most excellent build and even more bonus points that its rebuilt! I like that you added the icicles and frosted windows. Now we know why the original kit came with the propane bottles! Edited December 23, 2024 by Old Buckaroo
1959scudetto Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Looking at this very realistic weathered truck, Graham - I feel more and more cold... and frosty !

BK9300 Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 Very realistic detailing - a pleasure to look at, well done!
