Sledsel Posted January 16 Posted January 16 If I did my builds like this I'd get less done than I do now!! 2 1
iamsuperdan Posted January 16 Posted January 16 His work is amazing. At this point, seeing how much extra work he puts in, I'm actually surprised the windows don't work and that the engine doesn't run. 1
lordairgtar Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Pretty awesome craftsmanship. It's witchcraft...LOL ! He takes everything and breaks it down as seperate geometric shapes and creates the whole. I learned some new things here. I don't know if I can duplicate the work but I know Bill Geary has done stuff like this. 1
VanGoGo Posted January 16 Posted January 16 All the little details blew me away...like the moving gas pedal and linkages!
Goose1957 Posted January 17 Posted January 17 I call bullhocky. He didn't build that, he invented a shrinkray and shrank a restored one down to scale. 😮 Incredible modeling skills. Jeff 1
Russell C Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Hood hinges. Figured that sort of thing was at least possible in 24th scale. It is. Guy proved it. 1
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Goodness gracious! I don't know if I should be inspired to step up my game, or trash all my modeling tools and supplies and take up bird watching. Let me find out he did this in 1 week and I'll never touch another model again. Two things stood out for me. With all the detail work, he didn't add any flocking for carpet, and he didn't touch the tires, they still look plastic.

Some people on here make me wonder "why do I bother" Just the shifter detail and clutch pedal return spring had me so focused I missed the flocking being absent..... Edited January 18 by Sledsel 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Yessir, now THERE is some modeling on YooToob that's worth looking at.
Straightliner59 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I had watched a few of the different segments. It's simply amazing! And beautiful.
VanGoGo Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Ive seen most of his build videos and every one is a masterpiece...imagine what he could do with a 1:16 or 1:8 scale?!
