happy grumpy Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Had this kit for a while not knowing what to do with it. I look on the internet for inspiration and indirectly stumble on ambulance pictures which gave me the idea of building this as a totally fictitious rescue vehicle in some alternate reality. I think it's cool though. I look into my leftover decals and came up with this. A real nice kit from Revell ( that's my third build of that kit.) Really enjoyed this one. I can almost here the waves crashing on the beach in the distance. 😎 As always , thanks for looking. Cheers. 15 1
1959scudetto Posted February 13 Posted February 13 You deliver always, Mario - nice model, looks very realistic! 1
espo Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Great idea of the Ambulance and the two-tone paint work is cleanly done. 1
bobss396 Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Amazing build... wow. We had one at work, 4WD with a 6 cylinder and 4-speed. A '64, always garaged (heated) and used only around the grounds, never plated. When the facility was sold in '92, who knows where it wound up 1
Zippi Posted February 21 Posted February 21 That is so kewl looking Mario. Yup, I can see it parked right below the Lifeguard Tower at the beach. 1
ncbuckeye67 Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Beautiful build! I had the same idea for mine! (I even bought an ambulance roof topper for it). 1
DJMar Posted February 23 Posted February 23 I really like this, especially in that color combo. Neat idea. Makes me wish I had one of these in the stash! 1
tahiti7 Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Nice work on the two tone paint job Mario! I'm currently building a '65 Chevy pickup with two tone paint. Hope it turns out as nice as yours! 1
Radretireddad Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Great build of a cool alternative version. I missed grabbing one of these when they were out. I want to do a panel version. Revell, please reissue this asap! 1
