Rattlecan Dan Posted February 26 Posted February 26 (edited) My favorites are MPC Modifieds. Here's a 1/2 of the dozen or so I've built. Hope you like them. Edited February 26 by Rattlecan Dan additional wording. 8

Unfortunately, it wasn't included in the sale. Hopefully I can track down that paint or something simular. Thanks again. You're most certainly welcome. Glad to help when I can.💯👍 1
carl63_99 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 My absolute favorite from my collection. 3rd place at the Dallas IPMS nationals in 2000. Every once in a while I pull her out of the display case to wax. After the nationals, I was contacted by a guy asking if he could post my pics on his site. Sure, no problem. A few months later, Tom Daniel emailed me saying he saw the pics and liked what I did. Tom said I just about nailed the interior. As the exterior is orange with black trim, I went black with orange trim interior and it came out pretty good. 1st place in Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Lake Charles shows. 9

Jon Cole Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Thinkin' about the one that's long gone. Last one I made in my youth, so many decades ago. A 1974 Camaro, scratched into an IMSA. Flares made from cardboard and some sort of putty, and hand-painted graphics. Wish I had better pics. 3

Your rendition of the “Tweedy Pie” is without a doubt the nicest example I’ve ever seen done.

Great job on that model it looks just like the real car
catpack68 Posted February 28 Posted February 28 (edited) The Revell 67 Chevelle SS,the Revell 69 Camaro and Revell 69 Nova kits are my favorite three kits to build.Even with minimal modifications to them, they are always a joy to build.I have built at least 5-6 of each one. I am currently working on another Revell 69 Nova for a friend and I hope to have it finished soon. Even though I built the Chevelle for someone else, the other two are in my display case and they are my favorite models in my collection. Edited February 28 by catpack68 4

Bullybeef Posted March 1 Posted March 1 @Brudda that’s cheating mixing in all those “real” cars with your models 😜. Seriously though they are some well built models. Your photography skills of forced perspective are great. 1

STU111 Posted March 2 Posted March 2 These three stand out for me, because they were a joy to build from start to finish and the end result on each build turned out exactly as the vision I had for them before starting. Cheers, Stuart.👍🏻 4

That’s always a good feeling when they turn out just how you want them to; I certainly can say the same for a bunch of my kits also 👍

Test fitting is some I will do if I am warned. Sometimes I get away without doing so and some times I don't. My skillset has been greatly improved since joining this forum. (Looking at you Steve). Here are some that I am proudest of: Stunning lineup!!

TransAmMike Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Well my favorite is the replica of the first ever new car I bought (actually the first car I ever bought) when I was 20 years old. Of course the hub caps and wheels were replaced in the first week with chrome reverse wheels. 2
