bobss396 Posted October 16 Posted October 16 45 F and gloomy. It isn't supposed to rain until next week. But Island living... you can never be 100% sure on anything the weatherman says.
89AKurt Posted October 17 Posted October 17 It's Arizona Highways weather, drove up to Flagstaff to see Fall color. It was windy and the air was crisp. This is where everyone goes, on the way to Snow Bowl. Took the loop through Harts Prairie, almost nobody here. Thick frost on the trees under the cloud on the Peaks. On the way home, explored an area that still looks parched, despite having good rain, evidence is tracks in the dried mud. I drove up the the cell tower. It was 63ºF. Usually first thing in the morning there are no clouds, they build up the most around Noon, then dissipate in the afternoon. 2
John M. Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Sunny and low 60s in the Boston Metro area today. The same for tomorrow before rain moves in on Monday.
Rob Hall Posted October 18 Posted October 18 (edited) Really nice today in the Cleveland area. Sunny and low 70s. Edited October 18 by Rob Hall
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Heavy rain on the way, tomorrow AM. We'll see if my makeshift roof patches hold.
89AKurt Posted October 20 Posted October 20 Just boring clear sky, no wind to speak of, t-shirt weather. No clouds this way. Or that way. Found some Fall color, but nothing like CO. It was chilly this morning, but not enough to turn on the heat. Some forecasts say it will be stormy this Winter. 4
bobss396 Posted October 20 Posted October 20 A rainy 64 F right now. A 25 degree swing from just 2 days ago. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 20 Posted October 20 Overnight low dropped from the mid-60s to 42. Forecast high today 71 and sunny. Rest of the week looks pretty much the same 1

89AKurt Posted October 20 Posted October 20 Because the mornings are chilly, and it's that time of year, took down the sunscreens from the sunroom skylights. Living on the edge. ⬇️ Still boring clear sky, but something is coming. 2
89AKurt Posted Thursday at 03:48 AM Posted Thursday at 03:48 AM Back to weather, unpredictable by phone, the radio guy called for a chance of rain. A quick shower, the sleet lasted only half a minute. Second rainbow that I took a picture, the third one arced below the horizon (no pic), which was around Noon. Had a friend/contractor beg me to draw plans, not even for them. 🙄 Just a Plot Plan, yes. On the return, explored what was down a dirt road, there is a ranch at the end, and I didn't see any signs but turned around. If I lived out here, would *have to* own a Rally race car for a daily driver. 😏
NYLIBUD Posted Thursday at 10:17 AM Posted Thursday at 10:17 AM Days still aren’t too bad, kind of mild. Its the evenings when it starts to get chilly🥶Omg I sound like a meteorologist No but seriously,it’s going to get pretty cold soon, out here on LI…Sometimes, weird weather events occur around here.I can’t remember the year, but it was about 85 degrees on Halloween..A couple of times it has snowed.❄️⛄️

Bipolar weather this time of year. Two days ago we had 3 seasons in the same day.
stitchdup Posted Thursday at 10:27 AM Posted Thursday at 10:27 AM dry just now but i'll be drookhit later when i have to go out
Rob Hall Posted Thursday at 02:50 PM Posted Thursday at 02:50 PM Alas, rainy and dreary in the 40s. Leaves that are down are sticking to the driveway, etc.
Ace-Garageguy Posted Saturday at 01:43 AM Posted Saturday at 01:43 AM (edited) Sunday's forecast is for rain of burning frogs mixed with brimstone hail, but hey...at least I'll be able to sleep an hour later. Edited Saturday at 02:15 AM by Ace-Garageguy
bobss396 Posted Saturday at 12:38 PM Posted Saturday at 12:38 PM 38 F and real chilly out there. I got my lawn sprinklers blown out a few days ago. Picked the last of my garden yesterday. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted Sunday at 07:20 PM Posted Sunday at 07:20 PM (edited) NWS got the forecast pretty well right today. Said the rain would be after 4:00 PM, though there was precip showing on live radar...which must have been virga. Actual sprinklege started a few minutes ago as I was getting most of the leaves out of the back gutters, on the part of the roof I recently tarped. Looks like heavyish rain in Birmingham right now, coming this way. Good day to stay in and watch an old movie, maybe even work on a model... Edited Sunday at 07:21 PM by Ace-Garageguy
