Koellefornia Kid Posted May 4 Posted May 4 As an avid Hot Rod and Custom Car modeller I love to apply my own ideas and designs to model car kits inspired by the modifications all the great customizers have done during the past 80 years, But sometimes I like to recreate an iconic Kustom as a scale model and I’m pretty sure that other model car builders like to do the same. Now here is the place to shoe these builds! I’ll make a start: Billy F Gibbons’ Kopperhed, built by Pete Chapouris Billy’s Eliminator, my first and only oob build James Htfield’s Iron Fist Bill Cushenberry’s El Matador John D’Agostino’s Golden Starfire Pete Chapouris’ California Kid Roger Trawick’s Electracutioner Billy F Gibbons’ Mexican Blackbird Boyd Coddington’s Eldorod Jm „ Jake“ Jacobs’ 34 Ford Steve Caballero’s Coupe de Cab The Black Beauty from the movie The Green Hornet )2011) John D’Agostino’s Pantheon ‚64 Ford Galaxie Don’t know who built or owns it but it looked like great car to replicate in scale John D’Agostino’s Firestar There are a lot more Customs and Rods on my bucket list so this list is to be continued… But now it’s up to you! Show us what you got! 14 1

Ferbz Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Such a great thread! I don't normally build replicas but I did model one of my favorite Mercs from an AMT 49 Merc. Curley Tremayne's 50 built by Rod Powell: 7

Ken Car-Fanatic Posted May 10 Posted May 10 This one is an old Monogram '32 full-fender Euro-Touring car influenced hotrod I did with a custom made interior & a Ford Nascar engine. 1
Ken Car-Fanatic Posted May 10 Posted May 10 This one isn't anything special, it's just a box-stock '37 Ford street-rod (a Monogram-Revell kit). But it is one of the street-rod/hot-rods I've been able to do so far. 1

Mothersworry Posted May 11 Posted May 11 Some very nice models, but it seems this Threads gettin a tad off topic...supposed to be about replicas of real Hot Rods and Customs that actually exist/existed in full scale. Just sayin... 2
