Let's see your paint storage system

I have dozens and dozens of model paint bottles, but am running into issues as far as keeping them organized.   I'm currently using some units kinda like this

 

with the paints grouped by color, then arranged from lightest to darkest (example: Tamiya LP-50 Bright Red to Humbrol #20 Crimson.)

The problem first arose when the village idiots at Rustoleum decided to kill off the majority of the Model Master enamel line.  Having been some of my favorite paints, I scouted eBay for hobby store clearance sales  and bought multiples of old favorites or ones I anticipated using on future projects.  But as you might suspect, new additions mean constant reorganizing of the bins. 

Long story short (too late, I know) I'm just wondering if someone has figured out a better way to organize multiple paints and still keep them readily accessible.

I've got mine in some 8x8 clear trays. i have mine grouped by brand. I am going to be moving them into a recently purchased drawers unit though

I have a wood two level shelf unit (48"x6"x 4" deep) that sits on the back edge of my work table.  It's worked great for a number of years but gradually became "crowded".  

The paints are intended to be organized by base color.  This has helped quite a bit.  That said, I know there must be a few dozen bottles I've never used, and even some that are dried up.

I store my paint in drawers to the immediate right of my main work area, organized and labeled fer easy access. I keep a tray with the brushes that I use most often along with mixing cups, some alcohol, mixing stick, and various cotton tipped swabs on the right. I also have various thinners and brush cleaning bottles on a tray that is stored out of the way until I need it.

I use a small rolling cart with like 4 levels.  But I don't have nearly the amount of paint most do.  I purged a lot having moved several times in the last 5 years.

I just keep the colors on hand I use the most. Jars on the bench and sprays in the cabinet.

Made this at work out of some scrap pieces of 1/2 inch PVC sheet.

Mostly taking up space. Paints that get used most are on the bench.

I have a ghastly assortment of spray cans stored in multiple locations. Basement kitchen cabinets, a big box in the boiler room, front foyer, spare bedroom, corner of dining room.

A couple years back in the midst of a serious building binge .. I had 65 cans out on the kitchen counters and dining room table.
