I decided to do a mock-up. Looks like the collectors are pretty close to draging the restate. I like how the tires are up in the fender wells. Looks like the stance is looking good. Looking killer so far. 👍👍

Zippi Posted June 7 Author Posted June 7 I found a couple old paint filters so thought I'd see if I can cut and fit it in the grille. It's nothing I came up with, I believe it was suggested and I saw a pic of a grille done this way. 6

Zippi Posted June 10 Author Posted June 10 I just pulled the Anglia body out of the spray booth. I was a little worried that this color was going to pull away from the sharp edges but all went well. I'll let this totally cure out then hit it with the 2K clear to put a shine on it. 5 1
sidcharles Posted June 10 Posted June 10 how did you cut the glass (clear plastic) without shattering it? i've never had much luck even separating the windshield from the side & rear windows in the amt kits of yore. thanks

I laid it on a flat surface and used a #11 blade. I went really slow. 1
David G. Posted June 11 Posted June 11 Great color Bob! If that doesn't cover that pesky red plastic, nothing will! David G.

Zippi Posted Friday at 03:05 PM Author Posted Friday at 03:05 PM (edited) Just got the 2K clear on yesterday before all the rain hit. That 2K clear just lays down so nice. I'm really liking how it turned out. I'll let this cure out for a couple more days then get after the polishing. Edited Friday at 03:06 PM by Zippi 6

Dragline Posted Saturday at 12:14 PM Posted Saturday at 12:14 PM (edited) A great kit that needs a sharp eye and careful assembly. You are off to a great start getting rid of the roof rubbish. Woah! Didn't see the second page before I commented. Love the paint! Edited Saturday at 12:15 PM by Dragline
