Pete75 Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Beautiful, super-clean work. Congrats. Will have to check out the WIP thread to see how it was done!
johnyrotten Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Beautiful work. I see the factory markings on the firewall, nice touch.
Falcon Ranchero Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Very awesome; I really gotta do one of these. Yours is very well done; I'd have to ask where you got the correct grille/headlight bezels, dash, tailights, hubcaps, and decals.
TheBEAUMONTGURU Posted June 8 Author Posted June 8 Thanks everyone!! The grill, dash, and taillights are the new Canuck3D printed stuff. Decals are made by myself in photoshop. cut all the white stripes from a solid white sheet. Hubcaps are from Fireball modelworks. 1
exnyman Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Absolutely beautiful! You’ve replicated what has to be an extremely rare car. I love the fact that you chose to do the post model as I owned a 68 Chevelle 300 post from 1979-1993.
Jim B Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Absolutely stunning. Fantastic job. Never heard of this car. I'm guessing that this is the Chevrolet Chevelle for the Canadian market?
Speedpro Posted June 8 Posted June 8 (edited) Outstanding build! The conversion from the chevelle to the beaumont is so well done it looks like it was a kit you built. Love the engine details are perfect right down to the yellow and blue wires for the wiper motor. I have owned chevelles my whole life, I have a '66 super sport that I have owned for 26 years, was a classic car tech for 35 years and would go up to vancouver to do the chevelle show. Seen these cars many times, and you nailed it. Whats always intreged me was the color options for these cars. Don't see these options here in the states. Black exterior with a green interior was not seen here. Had a customer with a 1969 Pontiac Parisienne 2+2 big block 4-speed that was black with painted white top and bright blue interior. Always thought that was interesting and wonder why they didn't do that in the states. Beautiful build and admire what you have done! Edited June 8 by Speedpro

I think there were more of these "strange" color combos back in the 60's, but now that all the cars left have been restored, alot of those unique colors got changed to lipstick red! Here is a ficticious build sheet i made up showing all the combination and options as the car would have been built. 5
AMT68 Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Stunning work and a great deal of admiration for all of the modifications in creating the Beaumont. The unique color combinations from that era were very cool. I can recall seeing a '67 Chevy at a car show in Butternut Yellow with a Turquoise interior.
Rattlecan Dan Posted June 11 Posted June 11 She's a beauty. Great attention to detail. Very nicely done.
