So far:

The roll over bar had to be modified to sit lower as it was too high to get the body on.

A slice of alloy tube on the exhaust!

Now the body is on; The side windows fit inside and the two screens on the outside.

Thanks guys, as a retired race and rally marshal these were red hot in the day on the forest stages, alongside my other favourite the Lancia Stratos! The Renault was a fibreglass wonder with only a 1100cc engine to begin with that was enlarged over the years to 1300 and later a 1600cc motor!

As I said in another post a near neighbour who works for Renault has th new version of the Alpine and the new Renault 5 EV, which is now known as the Alpine A290! See below, promotional photo's!

The Renault is finished: Although tyre's  weren't marked in the era, I've put some spare decals on anyway.
