Been working on this one off and on for a few months

I had some paint gloss  issues and since decided to just clear it with a urethane clear and move on

This is my 1st of any Mobeius kits .

Nothing to crazy , basically just a stock box build

Tamiya White exterior with a couple light coats of Dupli color clear over top of the decals to seal it all in

Then Tamiya Titanium gold for the interior  mixed with some acrylic tan for the floor of the interior

Neat build! These are interesting looking, I wonder what the thought behind the shorter wheelbase was. Weight transfer?

Yes. The moved the front wheels forward as far as they could and used a lightweight K frame. Moved the rears forward as well. It had 56% weight on the rear wheels sitting on the scales. Tires were retreaded truck tires for a long time. That's why you see the scallops on the top of the sidewalls. And they were better than a street tire back then, but still junk compared to a modern slick of the same width. Really needed the weight transfer to get them to stick back then.

Very nice work.  Don’t forget the windshield(s) lol.

Thanks for the laugh.

I think the FT + Rear  glass will be dead last to add .

TO get the side glass in , just glue them in and slide interior / chassis in ?

Or maybe once chassis is in then slide the side glass in while the ft - rear glass are not in yet ?

The little tabs on the glass slide into the slots on top of the door panels. I’d glue them in first, then assemble. You might have to reach in through the front windshield opening to pry the door panels to make it all pop in. I never tried it the way you suggested, but I’d give it a try. I’ve had problems with the side windows, but on the Dodge cars though.

That Tamiya Titanium Gold looks pretty good on the interior. I’ve been using Champage, with a coat of smoke. So, how do you like building the Moebius AWB cars?

So far so good.

Been pretty much uneventful so far

But im being cautious as I'm getting close to the end and all the glass has me worried

ps, I tried the Champagne gold and it seemed to light for me where as the Titanium Gold looked dead on , IMO
