Butter 1 Posted Monday at 01:15 AM Posted Monday at 01:15 AM I needed a break from a 64 Galaxie Restomod I've been working on so I thought I would do a quick build and throw together one of the 8 or 9 32 Fords I have in my closet. The inspiration was a 1:1 car I saw for sale a few months ago on the Vanguard motor sales website. I liked how the GM blue looked on it. ( the photo of the rear view is the color of the model. The other pics are not the right color. Don't ask me how that happened.) The model is box stock except for the following: Top chopped 2.5mm. suspension lowered about 3mm, firewall from Revell 32 roadster, wheels are the wire rims from the Revell 32 sedan with the spokes removed and the steely from the Revell 32 5 window inserted, and finally the banjo steering wheel is from the Revell 29 Ford roadster. 6
XYHARRY Posted Monday at 09:47 AM Posted Monday at 09:47 AM Nice 32. The stance and mild top chop look great. I like what you did with the wheels too. Well done Ron.
Zippi Posted Monday at 12:48 PM Posted Monday at 12:48 PM Always liked the 32 Ford 3-Window and 5-window. Those colors in the pics sure do look a lot different. Nice build.
thatz4u Posted Monday at 06:21 PM Posted Monday at 06:21 PM Ron, nice 32 5window color looks great on it. I'm working on a 3 window, roadster, & sedan ight now, hope they are as nice as your's...Al
espo Posted Monday at 08:02 PM Posted Monday at 08:02 PM Great looking paint finish and color. The chopped top is in good proportion to the body. Like how you made your wheels.
FenderMender Posted Monday at 10:08 PM Posted Monday at 10:08 PM Very nice! I like everything about it, especially the stance and color.

I wanted the rear wheels to be reversed, so that is why I did them the way I did instead of just adding beauty rings.

Thanks for commenting Bob. When I saw the video of the 1:1 car on Vanguard motor sales I too liked the color, and the interior of the real car was done almost exactly like the interior components in the Revell 32 5 window.

NOBLNG Posted Wednesday at 11:58 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:58 PM Nicely done!👍 Just the right amount of chop.
Quiet Eric Posted yesterday at 12:48 AM Posted yesterday at 12:48 AM Great looking hot rod and you nailed it on the wheels.
ea0863 Posted yesterday at 05:12 PM Posted yesterday at 05:12 PM Great job Ron, and I agree - - - the GM blue looks great on that car! Interestingly enough, your other pictures give the car a "Tahitian Turquoise" vibe, and it too looks good on your car!
