Just found out he passed today, the 22nd. I had a feeling something was up with that last concert in the UK. Mostly all of the music I loved over the years, goes back to that one band. RIP Ozzy Osbourne.

I can’t believe he died.I knew he was sick for some time, but it’s still a shocker.I would have to add that Black Sabbath was my favorite band, yet I never saw them live.RIP Ozzy😞

Black Sabbath was always a favorite "go to" when I want to listen to some hard rock. Still remember giving away my Vol. 4 album in the early days because the music freaked me out. Don't know how to describe it but I bought it again in my adult years. So many great songs from them over the years. Thank you Ozzy!

That Ozzy lived to 76 is the miracle.

Saw Van Halen open for the original Sabbath in 78. Never Say Die tour and Ozzie's last hurrah before being fired.

Saw Ozzman so many times. I probably paid for something in his house.

Think of how lucky you are. The earth is Billions of years old and you lived in the time of Sabbath, Van Halen and Led Zeppelin. Count yourself fortunate.

I was lucky enough to see him solo, on his No Rest For The Wicked tour. It was at the Philadelphia Spectrum, with Anthrax as an opening act. I went to that show because of Anthrax. I will admit at that time, I was really tired of the same songs over played, and wanted to see Anthrax more than anything. Needless to say, after that show, Ozzy was all new again for me. I’ll never forget the first time I heard Black Sabbath in the 70s scared the heck out of me.

The first concert that I went to was in ‘73, Knoxville, TN. Black Sabbath was on their Sabbath Bloody Sabbath tour. Opening act was a band called Hydra. At 13 years of age, I was amazed to say the least. Both bands were great.

Saw him 4 times, twice in the 80s with Jake E Lee on guitar, once in the 90s with a little blond guy on guitar...don't know who he was but man he was good. It wasn't Zack. And once with Sabbath in either late 90s or early 2000s,  All 4 great shows.

RIP Ozzy. A true legend of Rock and Roll. The Grandfather of heavy metal, he had the talent and lived the rock star life to the fullest. Thank you for the music.
