Quickie 40 coupe build

I had a couple body and sedan fenders from the 60s that I put together to build a 40 standard,only modern parts on this build are the bumper brackets and rims.  I have never seen that exhaust so I presume it's from the early kit.

The Nailhead valve covers and exhaust headers are from the original issue of the ‘40. Sadly they were later replaced with finned valve covers and some blobtacular exhaust manifolds which somewhat lined up wit the molded-in exhaust system.

Found the correct hood to go with the grille and is getting painted.

Great looking paint finish and color. Reminds me of the Chevrolet Sierra Gold color that was so popular.

The paint is a Testors gold.
