Kevin Gerhardt found his shop truck pretty much how you see it a few years ago. The only changes he's made are adding his shop logos and, later, repowering the '66 with a supercharged 5.4 pirated from a wrecked 2004 Lightning. Although he does use it for the shop, it's mostly an advertisement for Outcast Speed Shop.

The truck itself is a later model F350 chassis with a '66 cab. The previous owner said that he bought the truck in 1998, and the newer chassis had already been under it for at least ten years. It also had a 460 with EFI, and had been fitted with dual fuel tanks. The previous owner had shaved the door handles, eliminated the cab mounted fuel tank, and made the custom mesh grille.

The model is the Moebius '67 Ramp Truck with a '66 cab, Revell Lightning engine, wheels and tires from a Revell Midnite Cowboy, and a wrecker front bumper. The mirror arms are brass rod, and I swiped the decals from the AMT '53 F100 Baja Patrol. It has a Best Model Car Parts 1966 Michigan plate and Ford Drag Team plate. Eventually it will be loaded down with some kind of hooptie and pulling a WMCC trailer loaded with another hooptie. So stay tuned for that, I guess.

Incredible work! I really like the weathering on it!! including the look of little road sand chips on the brush guard!
