Supernurd Posted August 20 Posted August 20 (edited) I tried to parallel the efforts of Gene Winfield in performing the chop and tried to retain the stock trim and the stock flathead. Suspension lowered with mag wheels and headlight cowls extended are the only other mods. The amber running lamps and 59 Cadillac taillights from the JC Whitney catalog. 1959 Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Nice! I like your idea of leaving rest of the car almost stock with heavily chopped top. Top chop is very smooth, rear window area flows nicely towards the trunk lid. 1
espo Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Like the late '50's era style of build. Great paint and body trim. 1
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Nice mix of stock and custom. Very cool. 1

Horrorshow Posted yesterday at 11:20 AM Posted yesterday at 11:20 AM Great work, like others comments, I like the stock feel of the build. 1
Zippi Posted yesterday at 11:51 AM Posted yesterday at 11:51 AM Just love the way the ole 49 Merc's sat...they are already mean looking from the factory. Nicely done. 1
