Curious to know if anyone else owns a '69 Pontiac, be it a big Bonneville or a smaller Firebird. Even a Beaumont would count. Haven't seen too many other 1969 Pontiacs at shows other than GTO Judges and one other LeMans.

A very old pic of my 69 Bonneville 428 convertible.

This is a stuffed figure sitting on the nose :)

That sure is one nice Bonneville; really like the big ones. If it were up to me I'd want to get a big car, but since owning a classic is a family affair right now, we went the intermediate muscle route, though I'm not dissapointed. One day though I'll have a "land yacht".

The Noid.................  B)

These cars all look great..... 1969 was a good year for a lot of manufacturers!

Good eye!! That pic was taken 31 years ago. This is what she looked like a couple years ago being moved after 15+ years of storage. Notice the rear trunk emblem.

“Bondoville” that’s hilarious. Hinting at what lies under the paint I assume.

Doesn’t look too bad, but I think it’s gonna need a new top! 😊

The top is why it's being moved in an enclosed trailer :)  It also has a boot cover sitting on it which makes it look even worse.

The rear fenders were rebuilt decades ago using the qtr panels and rear door skins from a rust free 4dr. It actually all metal and not that bad. The nickname was from before the rebuild.  I have had this car for over 35 years and I daily drove it in the late 80's/early 90's. I took it on an 800-mile round trip to Hayward, WI with my future wife in 92. What an adventure.

I have the original engine for the '56 GMC pickup that I acquired recently, does that count? 😜  They put a GMC sticker on it, and were made in Pontiac MI.

If previous owners are allowed, back in the very early 80s I had a '69 Bonneville 4dr hardtop. DARK green, white interior and vinyl top. 428 under the hood. Boulevard cruiser!! Sadly, I have no pictures of that. I didn't keep it very long. It loved the taste of gasoline too much!!

BREAKING NEWS... Just got the photos of our car before the previous owner restored it. It was wearing a crappy yellow paint job. Looks more like a LeMon then a LeMans. But what a transformation to compare. The blue it wears now was the original colour.

The only criticism that I have is that it needs a set of correct ‘69 “PMD” Rally II caps!

Those would totally be awesome; I know GTO’s came standard with them I think, and I noticed your Grand Prix has them and they look great. Definitely going to consider them, though this winter we’re hoping to get at least the rear bumper and tailight bezels re chromed, (not a huge fan of body colour bumpers) and the Pontiac badge on the trunk is missing so we have to find that for sure. Different centre caps would be on the list farther in the future.

They make reproductions of the original caps, and on all honesty, their not all that expensive.

Classic Industries will sell you a set of 4 for about $110.00.
