John M. Posted September 16 Posted September 16 We lost another Hollywood legend this year. https://whdh.com/entertainment/robert-redford-actor-director-environmentalist-dead-at-89/ 3
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 16 Posted September 16 (edited) Always liked him. Also liked the fact he never seemed to think he knew everything about everything, or that his opinions should guide other people's lives just because he was a celebrity...at least as far as I saw. TonyK Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Yes, always liked him too. Never remember reading a bad thing about him and sure enjoyed his movies. 1
slusher Posted September 16 Posted September 16 I was a fan of Robert Redford, the last movie he did when he retired from acting All is Lost was a really good move. I went to the movies when my wife and I were dating and saw him in In Decent Perposal, a great movie. 🍿 he was a legend. May he R.I.P. 1

Mike 1017 Posted Saturday at 01:22 PM Posted Saturday at 01:22 PM I always loved the scene. Sundance Kid " I can't swim" Butch Cassidy " Why you crazy, the fall will probably kill you" 1
John M. Posted Saturday at 06:30 PM Author Posted Saturday at 06:30 PM Besides "Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid" Robert and Paul Newman teamed up a second time in "The Sting" from 1973. That film was equally great. One of my late dad's all time favorites.

Bugatti Fan Posted Sunday at 06:57 PM Posted Sunday at 06:57 PM A great film actor who preferred a solitary life away from the cameras. No celebrity partying just to be seen in those circles. No huge ego. An A lister who was also quite modest and quietly supported causes helping others that were important to him. Not just a great actor but a true gentleman .
Elrodbeckham Posted yesterday at 11:59 AM Posted yesterday at 11:59 AM the sting is one of my favorite of all time. beckham
