Technics Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) Model - Blasphemi 1955 Chevy Gasser - A Roadkill Motor Trend Inspired Build - Monogram 1:24 An intimidating project as it was the second model I "cut" into first being the Lancia Stratos with the GP Modelling transkit. Modifications - Exterior Trim removed Plenty sanding, trimming, and hacking throughout Clamshell created by fusing hood to fenders and cutting it out Firewall from Styrene ( A first to scratch build something ) Stance quite a lot of work to get it to sit the way it does Hemi Motor and Radiator from Ghostman 3D Parts fused to stock transmission Pros Probably my most difficult project this far, even if its less detailed then others. Really happy with overall feeling, the roof finish, the soot, tire texture, the stance. First time creating a stencil via a cricut plotter and making a mask for the side. Weird quirk that worked out nicely - tennis balls from cotton swabs. Cons Could be significantly more detailed wiring, plumbing , etc. Could have a more shaded and varied body finish. Some trim remains Not perfect fit clamshell Build Thread - Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/scale_technics Edited 7 hours ago by Technics
Zippi Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Great looking build of Mike Finnegan's famous 55 Chevy Gasser Blasphemi.
