maxwell48098 Posted yesterday at 03:31 PM Posted yesterday at 03:31 PM Outstanding build. I remember being 9 yrs old and building one of these as a stock car, painted bright yellow with roll bar, numbers, and sponsor decals. Back then, one of the local race tracks in our area featured convertible stock car racing. My dad and I went to the race track nearly every Saturday night in the summer to watch those races. A.J.
Geno Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago (edited) A beautiful build. Yours has the best looking taillights on this bodystyle. To me the round ones these had look like J.C.Whitney afterthought. The rectangular are classy. JMHO though. You rocked it.👍💯 Edited 7 hours ago by Geno
Kah puts Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Your rendition of the colossal Continental is spot on. Can you imagine driving around in one of these back in the day, smoking a cigar without a care in the world 👍 1
RACINE ISHRAQUR RAZA Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Thank you everyone for the compliment! Much appreciated!
RACINE ISHRAQUR RAZA Posted 48 minutes ago Author Posted 48 minutes ago @GenoThank you for the compliment! Those rectangular taillights on the '59 Continental Mark IV are better looking for sure and more integrated. Many years ago I saw a real '58 Continental Mark III at a show and had to get the very similar 1:18 scale die cast replica of that car by Sun Star models. I also have the AMT '60 Continental Mark V that I'll be uploading to the site shortly.
RACINE ISHRAQUR RAZA Posted 36 minutes ago Author Posted 36 minutes ago @Kah putsThank you so much! Colossal for sure with great road presence. I was fortunate to see one(a '58 Continental Mark III) at a local car show many years ago and that was quite a sight.
