Very nice builds on all these brass era kits ... 😊
  3. Very nice built ... 🙂
  4. Are the tie rods connecting the wings strong enough to undergo wing sanding without deformation ?
  5. Like very much this car. Kit is in my stash. Perhaps, one day I will built it.
  6. When you are interested in vintage cars, colors are always a problem when the car is gone. The drawings offer a valuable aid if they are from the period and drawn from sight by the artist. Another source of information is the print media of the time when journalists describe the car. But this is of course a long and tedious search.
  7. I suppose you know this drawing by GÊo Ham, a french artist of the 30's, who has spent his life along the racetracks. Other drawings exist with a bright yellow nose by Rob Roy, but they were drawn in the 70's. And Fernando Pinto choose the bright color which is more attractive ...
  8. I'm very interested, as I have the 2 Alfa-Romeo 8C 2300 FPP Modelos Le Mans 1933 and 1934 in my stash. Always problems of color on these very ancient cars. The 1934 was blue, as a french owned car. So I made some research for the 1933 one. If the rear was obviously red, the color of the nose is not known with certitude. Some specialists think pale yellow and others think bright yellow. So, it's up to you ...
  9. Nice model, nice built, nice pictures ... Everything is perfect ... 😍
  10. So, no regrets. I'll built the 91 ... 🙂 When the time comes ...
  11. Undeniably, a masterful achievement. Like very much this lovely car. And now, I look at my White-Metal FWD 91 (South Eastern Finecast) still unbuilt in its box, and I wonder why not to transform it in a 122 RWD ?
  12. If spats inside and outside, perhaps the spoke wheel is not necessary. I would have turn a massive one piece aluminium wheel (including the spats) and let it natural after polishing on the lathe. Don't know if my english is good enough to be understood ...
  13. Thank you all ... 🙂
  14. I'm back after a long absence and I still see amazing things here ... 🤩 Really congratulations on your work.
  15. Good Job on it ... 🙂 Mine is still sleeping in its box since 12 years ...
