  1. Thank you for these very clear explanations Tapani. As I have an unbuilt Continental kit, perhaps I will buy the Zephyr body if available. Another question : wich car is it on the left of the second picture (dark red roadster) ?
  2. You say that Airtrax 1941 Lincoln Zephyr Coupe fits the Monogram '41 Lincoln Continental kit. I'm surprised because I thought the Continental wheelbase was longer than the Zephyr wheelbase. So, how can it fit ? Or perhaps, am I wrong ?

    1936 Toyoda AA

Thank you all for looking ...
  4. Fantastic realization.
  5. A perfect build for this 2CV ...
  6. I just finished the 1936 Toyoda AA from Tamiya. First of all, no error in the name : "Toyoda" became "Toyota" only in 1937 (only to have a beter sound in japaneese language). For this realization, I have chosen the authentic color named "Haizakura" amongst the 3 colors which were available in 1936 for this car. I'm very satisfied with the paint which is not too shiny for those days. The building process is in the section " On the workbench ".
  7. Thank you for looking the building process ( even if very few comments ) The finished model is now in the "Under Glass" section ...
  8. And on which date is the baby expected ? ...
  9. The body on the wheels : Yes, there is a windshield (or windscreen ?), even if invisible :
  10. Thank you all. Sorry, no Hot Rods for me. Only stock But you have many Hot Rods on this Forum As the radiator grille is transparent, its necessary to paint the plastic behind with flat black :
  11. Re-found the 1/1 wood Dashboard :
  12. Thank you Rick. Sory, all my models are stock. But if you like transformations, many topics on this forum will turn you crazy ... Now the Dashboard : Sorry, I've lost the picture of the 1/1 wood Dashboard, I've used for my work ...
  13. Thank you. Now the re-paint job :
  14. The paint is far too thick. The one shot paint is not a good idea. So, I unpaint the model (a bath in Glanzer) The result :

    Old '55

OK. I thought it was the same kit in different boxes, and that some boxes were wrong in scale.

    Old '55

Wonderfull classic car and super built. I Wonder if the scale is 1/25 or 1/24 ? On some boxes it's written 1/25 and on others 1/24. I search only 1/24 cars to have an homogeneous collection. Please, would you tell me if the total length is 7.8 inches (1/25) or 8.15 inches (1/24) ? Thank you very much.
  17. Now the paint job. 3 colors were available in 1936 for this car : Haizakura (pink beige), Nazukon (dark blue) and Kuro (black). I choose Haizakura color because of its exotic touch. Mixed 3 Humbrol colors and obtained this : I tried the one shot paint but I think it was an error, as the paint is far too thick ... Perhaps I will remove the paint an do it again ?
  18. Here is my built of Tamiya 1/24 1936 Toyoda AA. First of all, no error in the name : Toyoda became Toyota only in 1937. The frame : I add some Evergreen behind the radiator to clip the frame to the body : The front frame Under the Evergreen : Click : Good. Perfectly clipsed. No glue. Can be separate to modify or repair the interior.
  19. Great work. Have this one to built (whith some others...) Its true that Fernando Pinto wheels are the best on market.
  20. Whaooo ... Very imaginative and creative job. I love it very much. But I can certify to you that Northern Italy is a very civilized country. Hope our italian friends will understand humour ...
