Junkman Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Heller is following up their competition roadster kit of a couple of years ago with a reissue of the road version. It's announced for "Q4", whatever that means in France. 4 1 1
1959scudetto Posted October 18 Posted October 18 "Q 4" stands for quatrième quart which means 4th quarter of the year (between October and December). 1 1 1
chryslerjunkandstuff Posted October 19 Posted October 19 The world, meaning the modeling world, and the WORLD world, needs more pre-war German cars.. They built some beautiful, fast, and sophisticated automobiles.. I'd love to see a model of a Horch, or a Rohr one day.. Anyway, I'll buy one, always wanted to build this kit, didn't want to pay the prices that the non-building box collector types wanted for it..
OldNYJim Posted October 19 Posted October 19 I would think that the fourth quarter of the year would be the same everywhere…unless they have metric time in Europe or something... 1 3
Luc Janssens Posted October 19 Posted October 19 (edited) Christian is making a cultural joke here. As the French always say "À l'aise" cuz the further south you go the less stress...so Q4 can easily morph into Q1 😉 Tho Germans while Pünktlich do have a somewhat similar saying, "Immer mit der ruhe" And this concludes todays language/cultural lesson, Ha! Now back to the regular program. Edited October 19 by Luc Janssens 1
sidcharles Posted October 19 Posted October 19 some people say "i'll meet you at 10:00 o'clock on Wednesday." others "i'll see you towards the middle of the week." 1
bisc63 Posted October 19 Posted October 19 I like the look of it, and wouldn't mind having it on a shelf.

The 328 kit does have some great parts for builders of British cars, though, such as the six-cylinder engine (standard equipment in post-war Bristols from 400 to 405 series, as well as the AC Ace-Bristol [precursor to the original Shelby Cobra). 1
