Dave Van Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Lots of great photos. I understand Mustang Week is moving from Myrtle Beach to Charlotte Motor Speedway next year. I hope my Fox body is done by then. 4

Rob Hall Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Sweet...I was in Myrtle Beach just as Mustang Week was wrapping up last year, saw a lot of sharp cars. But in my Cadillac, my '87 Mustang GT was home in Ohio. 1

The 'Mustang Week' I was referring to has been in Myrtle Beach SC for many years and had gotten out of hand. Having it at CMS may work......it was great for the Mustang 55th that had thousands of cars. 1
iamsuperdan Posted October 27 Posted October 27 So if anyone is having any trouble thinking of the perfect birthday gift for me this year, you can just box up and send me that red Capri bubbleback with the t-tops. Thanks in advance! 1

Last I heard the town did not want the Mustangers back there. The red Capri is one my favorites, like the white wagon also. I heard this one got best of show ...... 1

Sounds like they may have been talking with the folks in Gatlinburg. These towns that have family tourism as their mainstay of income do not really want a lot of disruption. 2

I saw that one too and it was very clean and well deserving of the best of show award.

The last few years has seen some bad actors within the car shows. The raised trucks and Tuna car groups seem to be the worst. I still do the Ponies (Mustang) show....they get a bad rap.....but we do not have the issues dome have........despite the rep the cars & coffe Mustang guys have.
