junkyardjeff Posted November 23 Posted November 23 I only have two but would like four so anyone know what kit they came from.
my66s55 Posted November 23 Posted November 23 There 57 Dodge lance hubcaps. This is the one from my 57 Dodge Royal D500 I've designed, printed and built built
Misha Posted November 24 Posted November 24 These maybe what you’re looking for… I used them on my East Coast Deuce having had them for ages as they were on the chrome fret from an original release of the AMT 49 Merc. Unsure how soon they were deleted and replaced with more “modern” wheels. In the early 60s there was a distinctive East Coast style while out West hot rodders were taking greater steps with mag wheels, developing metal flake paint, and chopping tops. By comparison the East Coast rod above used the Dodge wheel covers, retained the stock height, and was finished in a neutral enamel paint. Closed bodies were favoured over roadsters largely due to climate. They were usually fully fendered for the same reason. As such greater effort was employed in having a custom interior. My build diverged from the general style by being channeled and fenderless. Cheers Misha 1

T think they were only in the first issue of the Ford. 1
junkyardjeff Posted November 24 Author Posted November 24 Those would work and I do have a unbuilt early 49 kit but those caps are missing.
StevenGuthmiller Posted November 25 Posted November 25 In case anyone is interested, those are hubcaps from a 1961 Dodge. Steve 1
StevenGuthmiller Posted November 25 Posted November 25 (edited) Pegasus offers a pretty nice set of four bar lancer style caps with separate spinners. Steve Edited November 25 by StevenGuthmiller 1
