Welcome Cannonballers to the 18th Annual Cannonball Run Community build(CBR) Voting poll!

The Cannonball Run Community is proud to present this year’s Cannonball Run theme:
1975 CBR – 50 years anniversary!

image.png.b0dce0535ad0a5dfd366745f9e9a8983.png

Back in 1975 the third Cannonball run was held, ant the winner did it in 35Hours and 53 Minutes.

To honor the women and men that ran back then we will do it on similar terms, a pre 1975 race.

Here the build thread can be found:

Here all finished builds can be reviewed:

This year we try a different voting method.
Rate the build with stars, imagine you have one of each star type to give out, then give your favorite build 5 stars, and then you have four more to rate al the way down to one star!
So you should give five votes of different values.

The build with most stars by the end of the poll wins!

= Your favourite, and the one you wish to win!
= The one you almost put as a favourite!
= The one that you really like but its not your two first picks!
= The one that needs two stars!
= The one that is so cool that it still needs a vote!

You will only be allowed to vote once!

And here you vote: Vote here, Google Forms

Let’s se which one is the favourite build of the 2025 CBR!

FYI: December 13th, 11.59pm: Polling closes

And thanks everyone that participated, the CBR would not be anything without your support and participation!

We had 34 entries this year, and 16 Finishes! That's 47% that made the finish! Is that the highest participant count and finish rate?

When I follow the link above to view and vote, it takes me to the CBR page, but the page is greyed out, and a box in the middle tells me I have to sign in to continue. But I am signed in, so what's that all about?

The box has two links, one says 'SIGN IN', the other says 'Report abuse'. Looks fishy. I'm not clicking either one of them.

Hum strange.. it’s a google Form that I made so it should be safe. If you aren’t logged in on google it might ask you to log in your account. I can probably open it for no login but then I believe there is a risk for multiple votes.

Some very cool builds there.

Bummed I didn't get mine anywhere near finished.

I placed my votes. I took into account not just the quality of the build, but also how much they stayed true to the concept of the Cannonball Run.

:)

Thanks for the reply Anton. I don't have a google account, so no joy there. I find it curious that the 'Sign in to continue' box had no google identification, but then, it is google, so...

Thanks Anton. It wasn't necessary to open it up for me, but I appreciate the effort. I had a good look and voted, but it wouldn't let me submit without providing an email address, which is absolutely unneeded, so I declined (old man shouting at clouds here). Thanks again.

I voted, is there anyway of seeing how the voting is goig?

There is. If you go to the link again there should be a way to see previous results or some thing like that. Mine is in Swedish so I don’t know what it says in English. 😁

Haha, it’s just so we don’t have multiple votes from The same person. But keep barking on the clouds, they will move eventually 😄😄

Try now. It’s one thing that can occur with this voting system as I review the data. If one car have few votes but they are high that car will have a higher average. So we have to take that in to account when determine the winner. I will have to decide with the number of total votes I guess. :)

I figured it would be a total number of stars type thing.

Or could simply go with whoever has the most 5 star ratings is #1 with number or 4 start ratings being the tie breaker (if necessary)
