OldNYJim Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I love when I get to do car stuff as part of my usual work…this is, apparently, some kind of display model Vette that was designed to be mounted to the roof of a Chevy dealer, or possibly to a sign: It has a specially fabricated square tube steel frame underneath that allows it to be mounted to a whatever with a match-plate. No axles under there, or motor or trans…kinda an interesting piece! Not much of anything under body - interior is somewhat complete…it DOES have carpet in the trunk for some reason. I’d love to find out if there’s a bunch of these, or what it’s story is…
iamsuperdan Posted 57 minutes ago Posted 57 minutes ago I've seen this pic on IG somewhere recently, like in the last day or so. And of course, there is outrage that anyone could let a classic Corvette be touched by snow.
Mark Posted 30 minutes ago Posted 30 minutes ago If they think it's real, they'd be more upset about the lack of a windshield, the painted trim pieces, and the "clocked" headlamps.
