Chuck Most
Okay- there are plenty of threads on this forum dealing with what kits we think should be produced but never have been. But here's something a bit different. What are the 1:1 subjects that you absolutely, positively, know deep down in your heart-of-hearts that you'll never, ever, see in a scale styrene kit, no matter how much you beg and plead the manufacturers to do one? Here are some of mine: Late '30's early '40's Dodge Truck (with perhaps a spun-off Power Wagon version) '98-'02 Lincoln Navigator Ford Granada Ford Fairmont Futura Chevy Corvair Van/Rampside pickup VW Thing '42-'41 Ford Pickup '57 Pontiac Bonneville '58 Buick Electra '99-'02 Mercury Cougar '93-'98 Lincoln MKVIII '47-'57 Hudson Hornet '03/'04 Mercury Marauder Any late model F-series (Super Duty prefered) '38 Ford DeLuxe coupe '55 Chrysler (any model) '57 Lincoln Premiere ANY Ford Ranchero besides the Revell '57 and AMT '61 (not that they're bad kits- just a little variation!) '66-'77 Ford Bronco First Gen Ranger or Bronco II Nissan Hardbody 2wd Regular cab '06-up Dodge 2500 Power Wagon Any '80 or newer Lincoln Town Car and, finally, three words- International Light Trucks (I would have been happy with ANYTHING, even a heavy retool of the old Scout II kit!) These are a few of the kits I'd love to have but I know I'll never see in a 1/25 styrene kit. Now how's about you?
B_rad88
well, i haven't seen any of these, but i am not sure if any makes them! alfa romeo sz alfa romeo rz alfa romeo 75 veloce austin mini cooper pick-up truck austin mini cooper van austin mini clubman (any clubmans! i.e. saloons, vans, etc!) or one of these: oh, and there is more!!!!!!!! JamesW
My list of wants (but will never get produced) 98-04 Dodge Intrepid (so I could do a replica of my 2002 1:1) 97-03 Pontiac Grand Prix GT Sedan and Coupe 98-04 Pontiac Grand Am GT Sedan and Coupe 99-03 Ford Crew Cab Dually 06-Current Ford Explorer Limited of course an 87 Cutlass Supreme 78-79 Ford Thunderbird 94 Chevy Cavalier Z-24 Coupe or Vert (would make a good tuner project) I'm sure there's more but I can't think of any right now. Most of these are things I'm sure no one else would have thought of, or probably wouldn't have interest in.
FujimiLover
My 2001 Honda Insight Only three model's known in existence of this wonderful little car. Ebbro made one in 1/43, HotWheels made one in 1/64 from the Ultraman Series, and Yutaka toy company made a 1/32-28 scale version of Ultraman toy. Nobody has made a plastic model kit or 1/18 die-cast model of it. Oh yea, and why hasn't their ever been any plastic model kit's of the 97-up Lotus Elise? 69*Goat
I know for a "Fact" that this car will "Never" be kitted. This is my 1977 Pontiac Can Am. This picture was taken at the Pontiac Southern Nationals back in 2001. I waited 7 years for the photographer to publish this picture, and give me 15 min of fame, Too bad I sold this car 8 months before it was in a magazine. At least he named me as the owner Edited August 27, 2009 by 69*Goat

Modelmartin
well, i haven't seen any of these, but i am not sure if any makes them! austin mini cooper pick-up truck austin mini cooper van austin mini clubman (any clubmans! i.e. saloons, vans, etc!) Scalekraft (now out of business) made them in resin a few years ago. They fit on the Tamiya kit. I haven't built the pick-up or panel yet but the Countryman Estate (wagon to us!) turned out well. He did a Clubman saloon, also. Very nice quality and worth seeking out.
Aaronw
Well if I find a big pot winning lottery ticket, then maybe... otherwise Ford F600-800 (any year) Ford N series International Loadstar (any year) International Cargo Star (any year) Chevrolet / GMC C6500 (any year, with GM selling off their medium duty line even a modern one seems unlikely) GMC B series 1940-50s Kenworth 1940-50s Peterbuilt Mack L Model Mack B model Ford truck (any 1938-47) Dodge truck (any pre-70s) Chevrolet / GMC (any 1930-40) Toyota Lancruiser FJ55 wagon 1968-80 1970s VW Bus (I don't believe these late series VW busses have ever been kitted, just the 60s lots of windows style and the 80s Vanagon) Early 1970s Cadillac ambulance Early 70s other pro car ambulance 1979-90? Ford Crown Vic 1980s Chevrolet Caprice 1980s Dodge Diplomat I'll remain optimistic about any 1-1 truck currently in production eventually seeing a kit. Thanks to diecast and resin casters I can get some of these, even if not in styrene. Edited August 27, 2009 by Aaronw
