charlie8575 Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I would have flipped the colors. The "heavier" color (blue) on the bottom, the "lighter" color (silver) on top. On a semi-related note, have you ever thought it strange that a large number of factory 2-tone paint jobs put the darker color on the roof? If it was me, most of the time, I would've asked them to be inverted, or scheduled an appointment with the dealer's body shop for a custom two-tone. Charlie Larkin
charlie8575 Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 This is coming out very nicely. Charlie Larkin

David G. Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Juergen, A very imperssive build, and excellent photography. I remember seeing one of these trucks as a young man and just fell in love with its appearance and styling. I particularly like the way the body and wheel colors you chose work together. David
Sixties Sam Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 That is a beautiful model! The colors are great, and your workmanship is excellent! Nicely done!
