SSNJim
i ran into this a few years ago i think sunnyside made it I remember seeing the car in K-Mart and other mass retailers a few years back. I don't remember the manufacturer either. I should have picked one up then, I had the shortening in mind. Never did it, though. I still see some of the other cars in the line available from time to time - mainly the Chrysler 300C, and usually in 1/18. Good luck, it's looking good so far. charlie8575
You're giving me ideas. I might try to do one in the colors I'd order it. Charlie Larkin
Chuck Most
I'm surprised there's no Town Car in kit form... not even a resin body for the Lindberg Crown Vic! Killer!
jevries
I'm surprised there's no Town Car in kit form... not even a resin body for the Lindberg Crown Vic! Killer! Indeed it's a pretty common ride in the US and there's even not a single 1/18 diecast version...beats me.
James Flowers
They make a 1/24 scale 96 Lincoln Limousine. Model Number SS 0701 made in China on the bottom of the car. The car on the bottom says 1/24 scale all though it is not 1/24. It is smaller than 1/24 scale. I have one. I will have to find the box to see who made it. Chuck Most
All I've found so far is this limo pull-back toy from Kinsmart- I think I bought it at a gas station about ten years ago- it cost around $2.99. I don't remember the scale- I'll have to check it out later, but it's about five inches long. There was also a 1/24 scale (give or take) Lincoln Navigator die cast. I had one a few years ago, and it wasn't the best detail wise.
Agent G
I scored the Sunnyside limo off evilbay last weekend. $19.95, and worth it to me. I'll be watching this build for sure now.
rollinoldskoo
I'm surprised there's no Town Car in kit form... not even a resin body for the Lindberg Crown Vic! Killer! i think i've done 4 of these overs that past few years.... gregg took one to jimmy flintstone for me about 3 years ago.... i dunno what became of it.... Evidently, it wasn't mastered! I guarantee I'd buy at least five or six of 'em!
Jon Cole
This is a great thread! I really dig Limo's in scale. I have every one of the Presidential Series from Yat Ming, plus a Chrysler 300C and a Navigator, all in 1/24 - 1/25. If the Town Car is to the same scale, I wouldn't mind buying one. I wish someone would cast one!
