Chuck Most Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Whenever I look at the stack of unbuilt '50 F-1 kits in my stash, this is what I hope they'll turn out looking like!
tuffone20 Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 You did a great job on that F-1!! What color is that? Very cool parts runner
cnaind Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Very nice Dave!! The look is just right & the mint green color is a favorite, too.
Harry P. Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Very nice, very clean. If you did the "FORD" lettering on the front end with BMF my hat's off to you. Or are they PE? Either way, fantastic job.
MikeMc Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 (edited) I love the truck...sets just right. and the air shocks in the rear....well done! imho dump the ram air and tubes......they cover all the details you put in there....I do not think the screen on the box is up at the same level as is the rest of that beauty Edited January 21, 2010 by MikeMc
Modlbldr Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Dave- What a very well done, clean build. I like the top chop and the engine swap. At first I didn't like the choice of wheels, But after I looked at it again I like them because they aren't seen on builds everyday. They go well with the rest of the truck. Thanks for sharing. Later-
bsoder Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 The mild top chop is just right!..whole truck looks fantastic
Dave Wood Posted January 21, 2010 Author Posted January 21, 2010 Thanks Guys The only reason I used those wheels is that a friend had a 1/1 50 with them on it and it looked good but then again his was black I think I should have painted it Black!
James Flowers Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I do believe that is the best looking 50 Ford I have ever seen. Great color and the chopped top looks just right.
coolplastic Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Wow what a great build. It reminds me of trucks that you would see in the parking lot of my old high school. Of course when you open the hood there would be an old beatup V8 from a LTD... mmm ideas.... Thanks for sharing, I love the wheels now where did I put that 50 ford kit.......
Joe Handley Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I'll be honest, I'm diggin' it, I even like the fresh air induction and wheels on it!
