bitner Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 (edited) I finally finished it. Sorry for the bad pics will get better ones outside whenever it quits raining. it's painted like an owner/operator would customize theirs. I got the idea from several old 70's issues of log trucker magazine. Edited January 28, 2010 by bitner

Guest snapper Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Wow, that is something else. Any intention of throwing some logs on there? What a great model to have on your shelf.
RodneyBad Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 WOW!! Super Job. It looks Fantastic.. 2 thumbs up
impcon Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Stunning!!!!!!!!!! Words fail me! I cannot imagine the amount of time and effort that went into that model! Congratulations on a job extremely well done.
rronning84 Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 That is amazing, how much you want for it. No really how much?
impcon Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I keep coming back to look at the pictures.. that truck is amazing! I worked in the forest industry for almost 30 years and I saw my share of logging trucks and this is really a very accurate depiction of one. I am really curious though - how long did it take you to build it from the start to where you can say that it is finished? It had to be hundreds of hours. Again, your workmanship is incredible!
studioman3 Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 She's a beauty! very nice job, paint looks great, detailing and scratchbuilding are top notch! Tim

Chuck Most Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I live for sweet IH trucks. Never seen one done as a logger. Nice!
