Jared Roach Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 well I think it's called furious pink or furious fusha, I kinda like it, it kinda complete's the "different colored challenger for everyday of the week" theme!
Casey Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Yep, it's called Furious Fuschia. Looks a lot like FM3 to me.
PatRedmond Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 The 'NEW' Hi-Impact colors have a bit of mica and/or something in them to differentiate them form the 'Classic' Hi-Impact.
Guest Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I love it! It's the late 60's, early 70's all over again!
mrmike Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I do believe that the new "Impact" colors are a pearl. I was looking at a new Challenger SRT-8 yesterday in B5 Blue which is now a pearl color. I don't think they listed that color as an "Impact" color though.
karbuildr Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 I like the "new" Hi Impact colors, but I agree about the pink color, needs some stripes in white or black.
Chuck Most Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Few cars can pull off pink and still look good. I'll get back with you on this one... still not too sure!
Jon Cole Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Here is a closeup of SubLime on a late model Charger... has a metallic pearl look
Junkman Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Pink? For a man? I'm getting too old for this world...
Greg Cullinan Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Pink? For a man? I'm getting too old for this world... Don't worry they are chick cars, men drive Mustangs
Casey Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Pink? For a man? I'm getting too old for this world... Yes, you are.
Rat Fink Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 (edited) Dodge is using three stage pearls on the more exotic colors for the Challengers and the Chargers. Wonder what the cost is for the Fushcia? I think it looks hot. I wouldn't buy one....but it looks hot. Edited February 3, 2010 by Rat Fink
Tommy Kortman Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 SWEET!!!. Bringin' back the Panther Pink. I had a race car painted that color. Now, how about the green too. Like the old trans-am cars. WoooHooo!! Did anyone see the Petty blue one at Barrett-Jackson? For some reason, that color did not look right on that car. Maybe because there was too much of it.
Joe Handley Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Don't worry they are chick cars, men drive Mustangs Well, I guess men can be secretaries now too
Chuck Most Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Well, I guess men can be secretaries now too Why not? They can be stewardesses...ah...stewards! They did a 'Pink Ribbon' Mustang a few years back. It was silver though, the only pink on it were the ribbons on the fenders. Ford made a donation towards breast cancer research for every Pink Ribbon adorned Mustang it sold. I have yet to see one of them on the street, however. Maybe if they'd actually painted the car pink...
Randy Kern Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 They're a pearl coat. Here's the Plum Crazy version. Not bad!
Jared Roach Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 Don't worry they are chick cars, men drive Mustangs Accually I think I've seen more women driving mustangs then any other, but the challenger and camaro are new so who knows???
Casey Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Our local Dodge dealership has a bright yellow (Top Banana?) Challenger R/T with black side stripes prominently displayed in front of the showroom. Sweet-looking car. Detonator Yellow is the most recent limited edition Challenger color to hit the dealerships, with Plum Crazy going into production soon.
Junkman Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 It has been a while the car industry gave us something we hadn't seen before.
