Harry, and yes, Jairus, it's all your fault.

I turned in my baby, the gorgeous blue and white FJ Cruiser for a 2010 Mustang GT Convertible today.

I was at the local hobby shop in Kailua, Wellers, dropping some cash, and I heard this strange voice calling me.

Ironically, I had gone to the local Chevy dealership to slip into the new Camaro, and was so turned off by the people there, and their $9,995 dealer markup, I walked away.

Anyway, that new gorgeous Mustang on the lot of McKenna's Windward VW was calling me, but that is not the car I was hearing.

Strolled into the showroom, and there she was: black on black on black, 2010 GT Convertible, smiling at me, whispering my name, promising me low monthly payments, and getting rid of the evil 18.8% interest rate on my blue and white baby.

Oh well, I succumbed...

Here she is, sorry for the bad pic.

Mike, there's NEVER a bad day in PARADISE!!!!laugh.gif

That's true, George. I say give him a week and we'll see him top down cruising in the shadow of a volcano with Armor All in the glove box

10,000 times cooler than an FJ, IMHO..of course

Seems like the perfect ride for your environment. Just don't test drive a 2011 with the new engine

FINALLY, you listen to me! Sheesh, I have been telling you to get one of those since you moved back. Although black would not have been my choice, it is beautiful. :)

Nice ride Gregg, stow the top and get a few spattered bugs in your teeth when you grin as the speedo passes the century mark. It's hard on the doo but feels great.

Don, he lives on an ISLAND! IS there anywhere he CAN hit the century mark? You got any place ta open that bad boy up at Gregg?? An I DON'T mean tha ROOF!!!laugh.gifwink.gif

Congratulations Gregg! A much better choice than the FJ, besides, if the islands are anything like the mainland, most FJ owners go through 3 or 4 windshields with that design, rocks love that flat windshield. Enjoy! :D

I live on an island too and I can hit the century mark after roughly 20 seconds and 3/4 of a mile. Gregg's new motor can do better I bet. A lot better. Oh, btw., nice car, Gregg.

Chris, YOUR ISLAND is ALOT bigger than Greggs! But I guess yer right,it can probly hit 100 easy, but can he CRUISE at 100 for very long? I've only been to howaya for about a 4 hour layover,an from what I've seen

it looked more like Road course country that straightaway.biggrin.gifwink.gif

Hi Gregg,

Nice wheels, but wouldn't you rather be driving a 62 Nova Convertible?

See you at NNL in San Jose... thanks, I am looking forward to a short vacation.
