droogie Posted February 15, 2010 Author Posted February 15, 2010 AMT did a Sunbeam. The original (Get Smart) version was an Alpine, it quickly turned into a Tiger for the reissues...and there have been several runs over the years. Hopefully Round 2 will reissue the kit someday, but you can find them fairly easily on Ebay. There were a couple (Airfix and Revell, I think) Sunbeam Alpines in 1/32, but no Tigers. Thanks for the info.

Austin T Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 (edited) I kinda want the Get smart version of this kit,Does anyone cast the get smart parts so that I can buy the cheaper kit instead. Edited May 9, 2012 by Austin T
tabsscale1 Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Have a friend that bought a collection about 2 months ago he bought over 1200 kits. He brought about half of them to the KAMS contest and swapmeet in April He had 6 of those Sunbeams at the show The night before when we were setting up all 6 were sold to 2 other vendors before any body else got a look.
Greg Myers Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 (edited) I think they did the Tiger also Edited May 9, 2012 by Greg Myers
jbwelda Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 didnt i read somewhere that the get smart tiger was due for a reissue? not postive but i thought i had noted that somewhere. oh and thanks for the clues on the wheels back in feb 2010, i dont think i ever made it back here to check for an answer. meanwhile i discovered what was reported: blueprinter version on the shelf has the mags. well, HAD the mags...now there is a note in there to myself reminding me i pirated the wheels back in 2008!
mr moto Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 There's a resin caster out there who makes Minilites. I just can't remember who it is! I bought a set about two years ago. Maybe somebody else can remember who casts the Minilites.
